 Ben Barnow

Ben Barnow is nationally recognized for his experience in leading some of the nation’s largest consumer class actions. He has successfully led the prosecution of a number of large-scale class actions relating to consumer protection issues, consumer data security breaches, and antitrust violations. His representation is both on the trial court and appellate level.

Mr. Barnow has been appointed to and served in leadership positions in class cases located in state and federal courts throughout the country, including many MDL proceedings. The following link includes a representative list of Mr. Barnow’s cases (pending and successfully resolved). Case Results.

During his over forty-year legal career, Mr. Barnow has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in many types of litigation.

Mr. Barnow received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.

Erich P. Schork

Erich P. Schork is an associate at Barnow and Associates, P.C. His practice focuses on complex class action matters, with an emphasis on consumer protection, privacy, and antitrust matters. Since joining Barnow and Associates, P.C., in 2006, Mr. Schork has taken an active and important role litigating class action cases involving, among other allegations, alleged violations of state unfair and deceptive practice statutes, antitrust statutes, and privacy laws; federal antitrust laws; the Fair Credit Reporting Act; the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act; the Telephone Consumer Protection Act; and various other federal and state laws. Mr. Schork was appointed a class counsel in In re Pilot Flying J Fuel Rebate Contract Litigation.

Mr. Schork received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the University of Illinois Law Review and was a member of the University of Illinois College of Law’s National Moot Court Team. Mr. Schork received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University.

Jeffrey Blake

Jeff Blake has been an associate at Barnow and Associates, P.C. since 2014. His practice deals with complex class action matters, primarily concerning consumer protection, false advertising, and data security breach litigation.

Jeff Blake received his J.D., cum laude, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2012. While attending, Jeff served as Executive Articles Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review, spent a semester as a judicial extern for the Honorable Samuel Der-Yeghiayan of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and participated in the school’s Intellectual Property Law Clinic and Center for Open Government. After graduating law school, Jeff served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Patrick McKay, Superior Court Judge for the Third Judicial District in Anchorage, Alaska. Jeff received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Anthony L. Parkhill

Anthony L. Parkhill is an associate at Barnow and Associates, P.C. His practice focuses on complex class action matters, with an emphasis on consumer protection, false advertising, and data security breach litigation.

Mr. Parkhill received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2014, where his studies included privacy, consumer protection, and competition law.  Prior to joining the firm, his areas of practice included commercial litigation, defense of tort claims against municipalities and utilities, and administrative review litigation. Mr. Parkhill received his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from DePaul University in 2010.
