Independent Living Systems, LLC (“ILS”) experienced a data breach between June 30 and July 5, 2022. 4,226,508 persons were affected. Information in the breach includes “name, Social Security number, taxpayer identification number, medical information, and health insurance information.”
According to ILS’s website, “Independent Living Systems, offers a comprehensive range of turnkey payer services including clinical and third-party administrative services to managed care organizations and providers that serve high-cost, complex member populations in the Medicare, Medicaid and Dual-Eligible Market.” ILS has “800 employees in 10 office locations nationwide” according to its website, and also claims to serve all 50 states.
